About Ron Pollack

Pollack is a veteran hedge fund manager and short-seller.  He was the founder and Investment Manager of Bulldog Capital Management, a family of long/short, net short and other funds.  The Dancing Bear Fund was Pollack’s net short fund.  Pollack merged Bulldog Capital into the Monitor Group, a large global consulting and investment management company in 2002 and created Monitor Fund Advisors.  Pollack stayed with Monitor Fund Advisors until 2004 when he retired from the business to spend more time with his wife and five children.  Prior to founding Bulldog Capital, Pollack was a senior analyst and limited partner at Feshbach Brothers, a pioneer in short selling.  He started his career as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs and then Drexel Burnham Lambert.  Ron holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Yale (magna cum laude) and both an MBA and a Juris Doctor from Harvard.
